Her Story
Kana Wu's love of writing started as soon she could hold a pencil. She used to work in accounting before deciding to be a writer in 2018, which is better suited to her creative mind.
Growing up in Southeast Asia, this introvert writer always dreamed of writing a good book and got inspired by her favorite authors: Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott, Sue Monk Kidd, and Arthur Conan Doyle.
Her debut novel, No Romance Allowed, was the first winner in the Romance category for the 2020 TCK Publishing Readers' Choice Awards Contest.
The sequel, No Secrets Allowed, received the first Place Blue Ribbon for the Chatelaine Book Award for Romantic Fiction, a division of the 2021 Chanticleer International Book Awards (CIBA).
Her third book, A Warm Rainy Day In Tokyo, was published in 2022, and she had the idea when she was stranded in a Japanese café in Tokyo because of the rain.
She lives happily ever after in Southern California with her husband, books, and hummingbirds that cannot stop visiting their feeders every day.
