Kana Wu's love of writing started as soon she could hold a pencil. She used to work in accounting before deciding to be a writer, which is better suited for her creative mind.
Growing up in Southeast Asia, this introvert writer always dreamed of writing a good book and got inspired by her favorite authors: Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott, Sue Monk Kidd, and Arthur Conan Doyle.
In 2017, an idea about No Romance Allowed appeared in her mind and she began to write it in early 2018 and published it in late summer 2019.
In 2020, her debut novel received many awards:
* First place in the Romance category for the 2020 TCK Publishing Readers' Choice Awards Contest
* Award-winning Finalist in the Romance category for the 2020 International Book Awards
* Award-winning Finalist in the New Adult Romance category for the 2020 Readers' Favorite Awards
* Award-winning Finalist in the First Novel category for the 2020 IAN Book Awards
She lives happily ever after in Southern California with her husband, her dog, books, and hummingbirds that cannot stop visiting their feeders every day.
